DSS discovers 18 bags of embezzled dollars in suspended CBN Governor’s Abuja Apartment

Weeks after the suspension of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele and his detention by the DSS, another fresh saga has sparked.

In recent days, just quite after the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu suspended Emefiele, he was further detained by the DSS while trying to flee the country.

His detention might go a long way after a tally of 18 bags loaded with dollars was discovered in his Abuja apartment.

This is in a vast connection of over 500 billion deficit squandered by himself and his team which is currently affecting the stock view of the Nigerian economy.

A video that has gone viral displayed DSS officials dispersing loads of dollars Emefiele has allegedly looted and embezzled.
